This Giving Tuesday, your gift can enable the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women (GCSRW), to continue advocating for the full and equal participation of women in the total life and mission of The United Methodist Church.

65 years ago, Maud Jenson was the first woman to be ordained into the Methodist Church. To celebrate this milestone and the legacies of all women serving in the Methodist tradition, GCSRW is launching the 65 for 65 Giving Tuesday Campaign. Give $6.50, $65, $650, or $6,500 in honor of a woman in ministry –clergy or laity— who has made an impact in your life.

In 2022, we are planning the creation and distribution of vital, new, and exciting resources and programming as we advocate for the full and equal participation of women in The United Methodist Church. When you donate to the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women, you help us provide these vital resources and programming to the denomination.
In the spirit of honoring the women of faith who have been pivotal in your faith journey, join us in the 65 for 65 Campaign to be pivotal in the lives of others.
