In 2014, the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference committed itself to divestment from the fossil fuel industry. As part of that effort the conference has produced resources to help churches education themselves themselves on the issue.

Many church leaders are hesitant to in holding discussions on the environment and the economy among their congregations because they either feel uninformed or struggle to connect these modern-day concerns to their faith.

To assist church leaders, the conference has developed resources such as a Divestment 101 document, a bible study, and various group games/activities.

These resources are all for free to anyone on the conference website.
