At a time when some churches are disaffiliating from The UMC, planting new churches is now more important than ever. New church planting can be a great way for The UMC to reconnect with committed United Methodists whose churches have either closed or left the denomination. As we seek to Reclaim, Revive and Renew our identity as United Methodists, we need to launch new and innovate ministries committed to the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Below are marketing and communications resources that will help church planters engage new people. For more information and resources on church planting in general visit the Path 1 New Church Starts webpage.
