The June 1979 session of the North Carolina Conference voted to request a declaratory decision on a number of questions relating to actions taken at a local church Charge Conference.

The Judicial Council is holding this case for consideration at the April 1980 session in order to obtain additional information necessary to decide both jurisdictional and substantive questions.
