In his new book “Soul Reset: Breakdown, Breakthrough, and the Journey to Wholeness,” the Rev. Junius Dotson describes a difficult period in his life that forced him to admit he was over-stressed and burned out in his ministry. Dotson’s experience is quite common today among Christian disciples, seeking to bring about God’s Kingdom.

Recounting his own experience, the chief executive of Discipleship Ministries shows Christians how to reset their lives to the proper balance of work, rest, leisure and health that Christ himself exemplified. Not only will resetting one soul’s according to Christ’s example help disciples become healthier and happier, it will also enhance their ministry and witness, Dotson says.

Along with the book itself, readers can purchase a DVD with video sessions, a sermon starters guide and any of three age-level study guides for small groups of children, youth or adults. Upper Room Books is also offering an eLearning course led by Dotson.

The book is available from Upper Room Books, Cokesbury and other booksellers.
