What is Podcast-a-thon?
United Methodist Communications held its second annual United Methodist Podcast-a-thon on Oct. 2-6, 2023, with livestreams of more than a dozen podcasts from United Methodist clergy, lay persons, annual conferences and general agencies.
For the first time, the week-long event went live with episodes from United Methodist creators delivered via Facebook Live on the ResourceUMC Facebook page.
Three podcasts were featured each day, including Get Your Spirit in Shape, Compass, Pastoring in the Digital Parish and more.
The theme of each episode is "Disciple-Making", which was the content theme for UMC.org and ResourceUMC.org for the month of October 2023.
