United Methodist podcasters sought for podcast-a-thon

Nashville, Tenn.: United Methodist Communications is seeking podcasters to participate in their second annual United Methodist Podcast-a-thon in October 2023. The agency is accepting submissions from United Methodist podcasters for participation consideration through August 15th. Details are available at ResourceUMC.org/podcast-a-thon.

Building off the success of last year’s inaugural one-day event, listeners will be treated to ten live podcast episodes presented October 2nd-6th. The five-day event will focus on the United Methodist shared core value of disciple-making.

Featured episodes will include a sampling of podcasts from the United Methodist general agencies paired with podcasts selected from the online submissions. The podcast-a-thon will be hosted on the ResourceUMC website and Facebook page and shared across various United Methodist platforms.

Listeners can hear United Methodist Communications’ current podcast offerings at ResourceUMC.org/Podcasts and episodes from previous United Methodist Podcast-a-thon participants via the event page.
