NAMS Email #3

Dear Leaders,

We're in the final stretch! Native American Ministries Sunday is just around the corner, and your leadership has been instrumental in preparing for this meaningful celebration. This last email is your opportunity to inspire urgency and excitement!

Encourage your congregation or group to give generously, knowing their gifts directly empower Native Americans in our church family to pursue their calling without financial barriers. Share your enthusiasm and let them know the impact of their participation!

Consider sharing a countdown on social media, making a quick video announcement, or giving a heartfelt reminder during worship or meetings. Let’s finish strong and make this a day of celebration!

Here are a few last-minute tips to make this week impactful:

  • Raise awareness. Share impactful images and graphics to highlight Native American Ministries Sunday. Place the posters and pew cards in high traffic areas, use the prewritten content and social graphics in post this week.
  • Share stories. Highlight stories found here or consider incorporating thoughts from this article from our first Native American Bishop. Incorporate the resources designed to complement your worship service: call to worship, children’s bulletin and sermon, bulletin inserts and covers and even a sermon starter.
  • Be inviting. Personally remind others about the opportunity to give this Sunday. Inform them there's an easy online option available at donate.gcfa.org/nams if that works better for them.
  • Celebrate! Build a sense of joy and unity around supporting our Native communities.
  • Prepare to Give: Send your collected offerings to your annual conference treasurer.

Let's come together to make this Special Sunday a meaningful celebration, shining Christ's love through our actions. Thank you for your dedicated leadership and heartfelt commitment!

In Christ,

The Promotion of Giving Team
