United Methodist Communications welcomed our new board on October 1 and 2 for the first session of the quadrennium. During the meeting teams made presentations about the work that they do and celebrated success highlights. The new strategic plan was presented to the board who received it well offering their approval on our path forward.
During the first day, the idea of innovation was discussed and members were then broken into groups for a team creativity project. Each table produced their own Lego creation, and then they all came together for a singular vision.
Rounding out the meetings were times for the staff to fellowship with the board members during a dinner at the Assembly Food Hall and a lunch at the office.
We're grateful for their affirmation and are excited for the ministry work ahead of us.
