Center for LGBTQ+ United Methodist Heritage

Introducing LGBTQ+ Heritage Season

October 11 – November 1, 2025

United Methodists' LGBTQ+ Heritage Season (Oct 11–Nov 1) is a joyful celebration of the historic 2024 vote affirming full LGBTQ+ inclusion in our Church. This season invites congregations to engage in worship, gather stories, and honor the presence, resilience, contributions and enduring legacy of LGBTQ+ individuals in the life of the Church.

Download and print the flyer below as a visible affirmation of LGBTQ+ presence, history, and leadership within The United Methodist Church. Whether in your worship space, office, or community gathering area, displaying this flier is a simple yet powerful way to honor the stories we’re preserving and proclaim your commitment to a more inclusive and joyful future.
