John Wesley taught Methodists to seek peace in all things by seeing all people as children of God and striving to build peaceful community everywhere. Today the Church continues to be a force for peace and reconciliation across the world.

A global prayer campaign for peace on the Korean Peninsula will occur from March 1 to Aug. 15, 2020, inviting hundreds of thousands of people worldwide to say: “We Pray, Peace Now, End the War!” The campaign began Feb. 6 with a live-streamed event hosted by the World Council of Churches in Geneva, with corresponding events the same day in Washington and Seoul. Evangelism
