Welcome to the General Commission on Archives and History's Postponed 2020 General Conference page.

Learn all about GCAH-related happenings surrounding the most recent General Conference, which was held April 23-May 3, 2024, in Charlotte, N.C., U.S.A.  The legislative gathering, which was delayed multiple times due to the worldwide pandemic, was historic for numerous reasons and GCAH was on-site to experience all that occurred, as well has give context to the happenings within the history of the denomination. GCAH also launched new initiatives and hosted a special Methodist History Trivia Night.

The General Commission on Archives and History announces the new position of Global Ambassador of Methodist Heritage Sites and a new American Methodist Pilgrimage.

The General Commission on Archives and History developed United Methodist Stories, an oral history app for capturing and preserving real-time storytelling.

The General Commission on Archives and History has launched United Methodist Stories, an oral history platform that captures and preserves real-time storytelling.
